Nuclear Medicine
The Nuclear Medicine Department performs
all diagnostic and therapeutic examinations using radionuclides,
including SPECT, advanced cardiac imaging, and bone densitometry.
Specialized studies performed include bone scans, thyroid scans
and numerous other studies using radionuclides. The Nuclear Medicine
Department also offers PET (Positron Emission Tomography) scanning,
one of the newest diagnostic tools.
