Progression to a Baccalaureate Nursing degree

Variables

0-3 years after graduation

3+ years after graduation

Nursing Credits

No testing required.

No work experience required (certain schools may require additional work experience for admission)

No testing required if during last 3 years have had:

  • nursing work experience of 1,000 hours (certain schools may require additional work experience for admission), or
  • a CCNE-approved** refresher course, or
  • an experience approved by the accepting college.

Non-nursing credits

Only non-nursing courses that carry college credit may transfer (subject to policies of individual colleges).
