Housestaff Association of the University of Colorado Hospitals
The Organization Which Represents You, the Houseofficer
Introduction
The Housestaff Association is the designated organizational system that represents all houseofficers in graduate medical education training programs at the University of Colorado and Affiliated Hospitals. The Association is available to seek resolutions to issues that cannot be resolved within the training program, and will present and advocate Housestaff concerns to appropriate Graduate Medical Education, University, Hospital administrators, and other related parties.
Representation
The annually elected Housestaff Representatives and Officers meet monthly to exchange information regarding current concerns. Representatives serve on various Standing Committees within the system where decisions are made that affect graduate medical education, the Housestaff training experience, work environment, patient care, grievance procedures, and stipends and benefits. Our annual survey allows us to address Housestaff concerns confidentially.
Contact Association with Concerns
