time being online? Do you ever print out
your entire course? Did
You Know that you can Take a Course Online Now you can use the cache function
of your browser (Netscape or Explorer) to view the internet sites
that you have already visited without being online. To Do This: 1. Make sure your browser

site). For Netscape
Navigator 4.0 or newer
Click "Edit" and "Preferences"

below: For Internet Explorer 4.5
or newer Click "View" and "Internet
Options" (located in the upper left corner)
as shown below: When this window opens up, click
the "General" tab if it is not already chosen.
Make sure a number of days to keep in history is selected
(as is highlighted). FOR BOTH NETSCAPE
AND INTERNET EXPLORER... 2. Dial onto the Internet
and click on and allow to download ALL the sites you will want
to browse later. 3. Disconnect your Internet
connection, but do not exit
your browser (this will delete your cache - memory) 4. You will now be able to
further explore all the sites that have the information saved
on your cache and be able to do this on your own pace. Some Further Hints: How does the cache work?
Is your online bill
depleting you?
Without Being "Online"?!?
This will reduce the actual time spent "online"

Data from recently accessed web sites is saved on the hard drive
and is pulled off the hard drive if you ask for that information
again, instead of taking the time to get it from the Internet.
This can really speed up your browsing.
