Many thanks to all who helped make the 14th
Annual SODAA Golf Tournament a success!
The School of Dentistry Alumni Association hosted another
successful Open Wider Open golf tournament this year at the
beautiful Vista Ridge Golf Course in Erie, Colorado. CU School
of Dentistry alumni, faculty and friends teed off at our 14th
annual golf tournament and fundraiser just after the lifting
of hot air balloons for the Erie Days Celebration, which was
held on the same day as the tournament. It was a spectacular
start for the tournament.
This year, the tournament raised over $17,000 to help support
student and alumni programs and activities. In past years,
the Open Wider Open has helped support scholarships and events.
In 2005, when the Lazzara Center for Oral-Facial Health opened
on the UCDHSC Fitzsimons campus, students began to enjoy the
new Cyber Café/Student Lounge that was funded by the
School of Dentistry Alumni Association through contributions
and support from the tournament.
