The 1883 Society is for alumni of the University
of Colorado Denver School of Medicine who have reached their
50-year anniversary from medical school. Membership is automatically
granted into the society upon celebration of your 50th reunion.
The purpose of the 1883 Society is to foster
camaraderie amongst members of the society and encourage involvement
in the life of our alma mater as ambassadors, advisors and
advocates.
The most recent event hosted by the 1883 Society
was the annual 1883 Society Luncheon held in conjunction with
the Alumni Weekend events. Dr. Tom Noel presented slides on
the history of the Fitzsimons Army Hospital and the transition
to the Anschutz Medical Campus.
