The University Physicians, Inc. (UPI) building serves as a major part of the gateway to the site's south perimeter. UPI provides the clinical management services for nearly 1,000 physicians of the University of Colorado School of Medicine. UPI physicians, all of whom are faculty of the School of Medicine, provide care for patients at University of Colorado Hospital, The Children's Hospital as well as multiple clinical sites across Colorado. The building houses nearly 300 UPI employees as well as offices for The Children's Hospital.
