Synergy Multisystemic Services

ARTS: a smoke free community

Synergy is a licensed Multisystemic Therapy (MST) program. MST is an intensive family- and community-based treatment that addresses the multiple determinants of serious behavioral problems in adolescents. The major goal of MST is to empower parents with skills and resources needed to independently address the difficulties that arise in raising teenagers and to empower youth to cope with family, peer, school and neighborhood problems. MST clients also receive psychiatric evaluation and treatment, if needed, as part of their treatment package. Synergy's MST program also works strongly with the parents to provide incentives to help adolescents become and remain drug-free. MST services are mostly provided in the home. MST can be provided as a stand-alone treatment option, as a service in combination with other Synergy treatments, or as an aftercare treatment for those completing residential or day treatment services.
