Click here for more information on RERC-RecTECH The Rehabilitation Engineering Research Center for Recreational Technologies (RERC-RecTECH) is focused on identifying existing and needed recreational and fitness technologies for people with disabilities, as well as determining the feasibility, efficacy, and safety of various recreational and exercise technologies in improving health and function for people with disabilities. The expectation is that improvements in access, participation, adherence, health, and function around physical activity will increase the quality of life and health for persons with disabilities of all ages. Funding is provided by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research under the US Department of Education, Grant #H133EE020715 and the Coleman Institute for Cognitive Disabilities, 2002-2007.
