Education and Professional Development

The education department at Assistive Technology Partners provides numerous preservice and in-service opportunities to families and persons with disabilities, professionals, students, educators, and others interested in learning about assistive technology devices and services.

Assistive Technology Partners delivers over 200 training activities serving approximately 5000 people each year. These activities include in-services, presentations, conference events, graduate coursework, and customized activities.

Future plans include expansion of the amount, type, and quality of training delivered, including the development of a state-of-the-art assistive technology training facility, distance education modules, and a Masters and Ph.D. program in assistive technology.
