Faculty Bio

Denice RobertsDenice Roberts, MEd , is an Assistive Technology Specialist, coordinating the Western Slope Technical Assistance Center (WesTAC), a satellite of Assistive Technology Partners. She is an instructor with the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado Denver, School of Medicine. She recently completed her Masters of Education and Human Resource Studies from Colorado State University - Ft. Collins with a concentration in Adult Education and Training. Ms. Roberts specializes in computer assistive technology and ergonomics, conducting evaluations and training for individuals with disabilities, their families, and service providers. Ms. Roberts comes to WesTAC from the Disability Resources Office at Pueblo Community College where she coordinated services offered to students with disabilities, and an assistive technology computer lab offering classes in computer assistive technology. During her tenure at Pueblo Community College, Ms. Roberts also participated in the Exceeding Expectations Grant through CSU-Fort Collins, where she helped create best practices for transitioning students from high school to college. As part of the grant, she co-presented at the Pacific Rim Conference and the AHEAD conference.
