Gavin Philips, M.S.E.E., is a Professional Research Assistant at Assistive Technology Partners. He works in the Engineering Department on various research projects, including the adaptation of specialty input devices for wheelchair control, computer access, and electronic aids to daily living (EADL) . Gavin received a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering and a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming, where he researched the expansion of smart wheelchair technology, including eye movement-based steering and biomimetic environmental sensors.
