Sue Loeffler has been a speech-language pathologist since 1982, graduating with a Master’s Degree from the University of Denver. She worked at Porter Memorial Hospital and Littleton Memorial Hospital for 10 years serving pediatric outpatients, adult inpatients and working in the rehabilitation units at the hospitals. In addition, she supervised the Speech and Hearing Department for Porter Memorial for 3 years before leaving in 1995. At that time, she transitioned to the schools and has been employed as a speech therapist with Denver Public Schools since leaving Porter’s. She was selected to serve on the Assistive Technology Resource Team through DPS in 1998 and has been providing assistive technology services full time with the district since then. Sue has worked with the UCHSC Rehabilitation Department and Assistive Technology Partners for the past three years, working with the department part time when not working with DPS during the traditional school year.
Sue served on a state-wide board involving CSAP and CSAP-A testing for school based children throughout the state for 6 years, as well as serving on the SWAAAC advisory team for ATP for the past 5 years.
Sue holds National Accreditation for Speech-Language Pathologists and has her Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC’s) through the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA).
