The Colorado Department of Education and Assistive Technology Partners support a network of assistive technology teams across all school districts in the state of Colorado. These SWAAAC teams are interdisciplinary groups comprised of education professionals from disciplines such as Speech-Language, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Special Education, and Psychology. They provide assistive technology services in schools and classroom settings within their districts, with the intention of enabling students with disabilities to achieve full access and participation in all educational opportunities.
