Container: Durable, tightly sealed plastic urine container
(not a urine cup).
Collection: Morning urine preferred.
Sample Handling: Random urine, morning specimen preferred. Freeze without preservative.
Interpretive Reference Range: Subjective interpretation
based on amino acid amounts and pattern.
Use: Examining for disorders of amino acid metabolism
or transport.
