Exon / intron junctions in the human CBS gene (Kraus
et al., 1998).
The exon and intron sequences are shown in bold capitals and small letters, respectively.
The untranslated regions are shown in italics. The sizes of exons -1a, b, c, d and e are
based on data obtained from cDNA sequencing and primer extension studies (Bao et al., 1998). The intron positions in cDNA
are shown as subscript letters. The stop codon in exon 16 is represented by an asterisk.
Amino acids encoded by the alternatively used exon 15 are shown in parentheses.
