Guidelines for Developmental Research Funding
A major component of the CFAR is to support new ideas for AIDS-related research with the goal of developing future applications for outside funding. This new HIV-related funding is available to investigators in the clinical, basic, and social sciences (including pediatrics, internal medicine, neurology, and obstetrics-gynecology) who wish to explore new ideas in HIV research. Emphasis will be placed on support for interdisciplinary projects and infrastructure investments that will have a broad impact on AIDS research capabilities.
