PhD Program: Admissions
Admissions
Qualified clinicians that have already earned either a professional doctoral degree (e.g., MD, DO, DDS, PharmD) or a health-related master's degree (nurses, pharmacists, MSPH graduates, epidemiologists, biostatisticians, etc.) are eligible to apply to the Ph.D. Program.

Minimum criteria for admission:
- An undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale)
- An acceptable and verifiable GRE or MCAT score
To maintain flexibility in allowing outstanding individuals to apply to the program, an exception process will be made available.
Specifically, individuals with exceptional background and relevant experience in the health care field who do not otherwise meet the application criteria are encouraged to contact one of the Executive Leadership team members (Drs. Crapo, Cicutto, and Program Administrators to discuss their interest further.
International Applicant Additional Admission Criteria

International applicants must meet the general admission requirements listed above. Please review additional requirements and information for Graduate School admission for international students for more information.
The program, at this point, does not have funding to support international students financially.
Applying
All completed application materials for the PhD program must be submitted by:
- February 1st of each year to be considered for admission in the summer or fall semester. The first series of required courses are offered in the summer semester each year.
