Description
The Health Careers Pre-Collegiate
Development Program (HCPCP) at the University of Colorado is a
system-wide, institutionally funded academic program for
targeted high school students. It is designed to motivate and
prepare first generation and underrepresented students in
pursuit of their higher education goals. HCPCP is structured to
ensure that students are academically prepared to enroll and be
successful at the University of Colorado or any postsecondary
institution.
Program Goals
- Provide academic enhancement
- Conduct Comprehensive
follow-up services for program participants
- Facilitate career
exploration and higher education opportunities
- Establish collaboration with
parents, guidance counselors, and the community
