Purpose of our Program:
The aim of the Program for Early Developmental
Studies (PEDS) is to generate
basic and applied knowledge in the area of social and emotional development
that will benefit
the mental health of infants, young children and their families.
Recently, our Program's activities
moved from having a primary emphasis on basic research in early
socio-emotional development
to research that involves preventative interventions and their
evaluation.
