Who pays for rental of equipment?
All rental fees apply except for Degree Granting Programs within
the University. A class code will be required to determine the
charge.
When will a late fee be charged?
A late fee will be charged when the equipment is not returned
on its specified date and time of return.
Do I need a reservation for equipment?
Most of the equipment is on a first come first serve basis. We
do ask that all Data Projectors and Computers be reserved online
or by phone. Camcorders, flipcharts, easels or any other item
you wish to reserve, may be reserved by calling the front desk
at (303)724-8129.
How early do I need to reserve equipment?
We recommend a week in advance for most items. Data projectors
and computers the earlier the better due to high demand.
How do I connect the computer to the Data projector?
- Remove projector from case
- Connect power cord
- Connect VGA cable between computer and projector
- Turn on projector power (Very Important)
- Turn on computer power
- Image should appear on projector and laptop display simultaneously.
If it does not, hold down the function (fn) key in the lower
left hand corner of the keyboard and press (F 5) for Toshiba,
(F 8) for Dell or the equivalent key on your laptop. There should
be a picture of a computer screen and a larger screen or it
will say CRT/LCD. The image will disappear from projector and
reappear on computer screen.
- Repeat step (6) until image appears on both computer screen
and projector.
