Engineering & Technology Services maintains
and operates the campus TV studio, satellite earth station, distance
education delivery system, videoconferencing system, and provides
campus video/audio distribution and duplication.
Videoconferencing/Distributed Education:
Using dedicated ISDN or IP (Internet Protocol) circuits for point-to-point
or multipoint videoconferences. Available connections to Colorado
AHEC (Area Health Education Center) sites, all community colleges,
state colleges, and universities throughout the state, as well
as national and international locations.
Educational Support Services operates a number of rooms that are
conferencing capable.

Audio Conferencing:
Provide support and equipment for larger, conference room settings.
TV Studio:
Multiple camera studio with lighting and backgrounds for TV production.
Recording formats: DVD, VHS/S-VHS, Hi-8, BetaSP, DVC Pro, MiniDV
Conversion to international formats: PAL, SECAM
Satellite Earth Station:
Downlink: Capture of "C" and "KU" band satellite reception of
regional, national, and international programming and videoconferences
for recording, live distribution or rebroadcast.
Campus Video/Audio Distribution
and Duplication:
Educational Support Services supports more than 50 rooms wired
for video and audio distribution. Off-air broadcasts, satellite
programs, videotapes, or videoconferences are just a few of the
signals that can be disbursed. Several rooms are wired for recording
of patient/student interviews.
Duplication and/or transfer of audio and videotapes are also provided.
