Educational Support Services provides a variety of creative,
consultative and production services ranging from simple lecture
taping, developing scripted training programs, clinical and surgical
recording, and promotional programs which support faculty, staff
and students.
We work with the most appropriate medium for your needs, be it
broadcast quality video, PowerPoint computer shows, audio recording,
CD, DVD or web-based delivery.
Our video capabilities include location or studio taping. We
also provide editing services, including the capabilities to add
titles, photos, artwork, graphics, voice-overs or music to your
videos.
Many of our clients are interested in enhancing their PowerPoint
presentations with photographs, audio and video segments. We will
work with you to enhance the visual impact of your lectures or
on-line courses.

The Educational Technology Lab (ETL) is a self-service media
production facility designed for the production of classroom related
content.
The Lab is available to faculty and staff everyday, 24 hours a
day; however you must register as a user to obtain after hours
keycard access for the facility.
Students may use the Educational Technology Lab during normal
business hours, 8 AM to 5 PM,
Monday – Friday.
Training in the use of this technology and equipment, and consultation
on specific projects is provided by appointment only.
We will instruct you in the use of any of these technologies,
to meet your needs:
- Scanning of slides, photographs, x-rays and
artwork (up to 11" X 17")
- Manipulation of scanned images via Adobe Photoshop
- Video Digitizing and Editing directly from
your camcorder, or from existing videotapes. You can edit your
video, add music, narration, and pictures to your project, and
then record back onto a tape, CD, or DVD using the MAC-based
"iMovie," “Final Cut Express” or "DVD
Studio Pro" programs.
- PowerPoint software for creation of presentations
and posters
- Microphone for recording narration onto PowerPoint
or videos
Training in the use of this technology and equipment, and consultation
on specific projects is provided by appointment.
