Students are required to complete Exit Counseling after you graduate, leave school, or drop below half-time enrollment.  As part of your Exit Counseling, your lender will provide you with specific information regarding your loans including contact information for your lender, where to send payments, repayment options and plans and loan consolidation.  Please complete the appropriate Exit Counseling for the loans you borrowed while at UCDHSC. 

Federal Stafford Loans

If you borrowed a federal Stafford Loan while at UCDHSC, please go to Mapping Your Future and complete the “Stafford Exit”. 

Federal Perkins Loans

If you borrowed a federal Perkins Loan while at UCHDSC, please go to Mapping Your Future and complete the “Perkins Exit”. 

NOTE:  UCDHSC does not use the Stafford & Perkins Combined Exit Counseling due to processing problems.  Please complete the Exit Counseling for each loan. 

Graduate PLUS Loans

If you borrowed a federal Graduate PLUS Loan while at UCDHSC, please go to Mapping Your Future and complete the “Grad PLUS Exit Counseling”.

Institutional Loans

If you borrowed an institutional loan while at UCDHSC, please go to the Student Loans section on the Student Debt Management website and complete the appropriate exit counseling.  Click this link for a list of institutional loans.
