AID SOURCES
Federal, State and Institutional Aid AvailableAll students should expect to be awarded the maximum amounts of Federal Stafford Loans possible. (See "Applying for Aid" portion of this website for information about your eligibility.) UCHSC participates in the Federal Direct Student Loan Program eliminating the need to complete separate bank loan applications for Federal Stafford Loans you are awarded. Additionally, undergraduates may be considered for a combination of the following programs: Federal Pell Grant
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Federal College Work Study
Federal Perkins Loan
Colorado Student Grant (CSG)*
Colorado Leveraging Educational Assistance Partnership (CLEAP)*,***
Colorado Work Study*
Colorado Undergraduate Merit Award*, ** (Award may not exceed the amount of tuition mandatory fees charged to the recipient)

For undergraduate and graduate/professional students, institutional money may also make part of the financial aid package.
Additionally, there are Federal loans and grants available (Title VII funds) to specific health care fields such as Dentistry, Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy. These programs may include:
