WORK STUDY is financial aid. It is part of the award package available to students to meet their educational costs. Students must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the University Application (UAPP) for financial aid to be considered for work study funds. Students request a certain amount of work study funds that are earned as hourly wages. Work study positions are designed to allow flexible working hours so that students are not distracted from their studies. Work study positions are part-time work. Students may work more hours during periods when classes are not in sessions. The wages earned are paid bi-weekly and are available to help meet your cost of attendance.
