Research Interests

Dr. Hasan is interested in women's gastrointestinal health. She has partnered with the Women's Integrated Services in Health (WISH), as well as the Center for Integrative Medicine to provide comprehensive care for women with gastrointestinal problems. Her research is focused on women's adherence to colon cancer screening, and how to improve screening rates in women. She has also created a women's only colonoscopy block, where only female providers are involved in the actual procedure, to address modesty concerns female patients may have.
