Clinical Interests:
Dr. Burton's clinical interests include management of complications of end-stage liver disease (variceal bleeding, ascites and liver cancer) and liver transplantation.
Research interests:
Dr. Burton's research include
retransplantation for recurrent hepatitis C infection and understanding how
the immune system responds to hepatitis C virus infection with antiviral therapy
and after liver transplantation.
