House Staff Association of the University of Colorado Hospitals Visit the Housestaff Association Website The Housestaff Association is the designated organizational system that collectively represents all houseofficers in graduate medical education training programs at the University of Colorado and Affiliated Hospitals. The Housestaff Association is available to answer questions and seek resolutions to issues that arise that cannot be resolved within the training program. We will assist residents in addressing training issues, including RRC and ACGME requirements and violations. The Association will present and advocate Housestaff concerns to the appropriate Graduate Medical Education, University and Hospital administrators. The Executive Committee, comprised of annually elected departmental representatives, meets monthly. Representatives serve on various standing committees where decisions are made that affect Housestaff and their training experience. These committees make policies and address education, patient care, legal and malpractice issues, work environment, and stipends and benefits. The Housestaff Association represents and serves only the University of Colorado Houseofficers and is funded solely through Housestaff dues. The Housestaff Association is not a union and receives no other source of funding. Houseofficers may contact the Housestaff
