Diana Lane is from Canberra, Australia. She did her BSc and PhD at the Australian National University. She completed her honours degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at CSIRO Division of Plant Sciences, where she subsequently worked as a technician for one year. Her PhD in Plant Sciences was completed at the Research School of Biological Sciences at the Australian National University. Diana has enjoyed the change in research into the trafficking field, and finds Denver a very enjoyable place to live.
