Lisa Gomez is from Colorado where she completed an Associate of Science and is now working on her BS in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She has enjoyed working in the cell/molecular department at UCD for the past year and a half. She initially learned biochemistry/cell biology techniques by testing antibodies for affinity to the Golgi complex. She is now working on a more molecular project by helping to identify novel proteins for Golgi associated proteins. With this diverse range of lab skills Lisa hopes to excel in her graduate studies.
