Hematopoietic Cell Tumors

James Degregori, PhD - - Role of competition in hematopoietic stem cell compartments in leukemia development, with a focus on impacts of diet, chemotherapeutics and aging.

Jaime Modiano, VMD/PhD - Development of clinical applications for identification of heritable and sporadic factors that determine risk and prognosis. Comparative aspects of naturally occuring lymphoma/leukemia in humans and dogs.

Yosef Refaeli, PhD - Cooperation between B and T-cell antigen receptors with MYC and other oncogenes in the initiation and maintenance of lymphoid neoplasms. Determining the molecular basis of this interaction with possible identification of theraputically relevant targets. Establishment and validation of novel mouse models of human B and T cell lymphoma, and their deployment at preclinical testing platforms.

Linda van Dyk, PhD - Lymphomas and lymphoproliferative disorders due to viral infection.

Christopher Hogan, PhD - Identification of homeobox gene targets of the Runx1 (AML1) transcription factor and the roles they play in lineage-specific hematopoietic development and leukemia.

Immune Response to Tumors
