| Lasers on the Zeiss LSM 510.
The Argon laser has four excitation lines (458, 477, 488, and 514 nm) and the two HeNe lasers offer additional lines at 543 nm and 643 nm. The IR 2 photon laser is a Coherent Mira 70 MHz mode locked Ti-Sapphire laser, tunable from ~720 nm to ~900 nm.

Workstations and software for image processing, archiving, and hard copy
A PC workstation is available for processing of images, with several different commercial and custom software programs. SGI workstations include two O2's for deconvolving and procesing. Data can be archived with Zip, Jazz, and CD media, as well as sent via ethernet to other computers.
