UCD DERC Molecular Biology Online Services
Using the Barbara Davis Center DERC Website to Submit New DNA Sequencing Requests:
- First, your lab and principal investigator and speedtype must be added to our database. If you need to do this, please contact Randy Wong or Carrie Toews by email or by phone at 303-724-6825.
- In your browser type the following URL: http://140.226.23.24/ (you may want to bookmark this site).
- If you are a new user, Click on "Create Login Account for dnaLIMS”, enter all of your information, select your PI from the drop down list, and click the “Submit” button.
- Enter your lab password and your username, and click the “Submit” button. Passwords and usernames are sensitive to case and punctuation.
- Click on the “New Sequencing Request” link.
- Fill out the form for “Step 1 - General Information”. Click the “Submit” button.
- The information you entered will be displayed in the next screen. Now, complete the information for “Step 2 - Sample Details”, and click the “Next” button.
- Review the information. If you need to makes changes, click the “Edit” link. If not, click the “Printer Page” link.
- Print out a copy of this page to submit with your samples.
Thank you for using the on-line request submission. This substantially reduces the amount of administrative time necessary to operate the service and therefore helps to keep costs low.
