Why you chose the UC Denver Neuroscience Program: Accessible and enthusiastic great faculty, location, and overall atmosphere of school.

What labs you rotated in: Leslie Krushel, Mike Zawada , Curt Freed , Diego Restrepo

What lab you joined and why: Diego Restrepo. Diego is a great PI, he is just purely excited about doing science, he is incredibly knowledgeable, and he is also a great educator.

Where you attended undergrad and what your major/minor(s) were: Japan Women's University. Biology and Chemistry

What you did (if anything) between undergrad and grad school: I graduated from college in March 2006, and I moved in Colorado in June 2006. I worked in the lab where I used to work for my undergrad project until right before I moved to Colorado.

Other school affiliated activities/clubs you are involved in: N/A

What you like to do outside of school: Learning language (I like to learn not only English but also other languages as well !), jogging, playing basketball, watching movies, playing with my roommate's cat, chatting with friends, cooking, knowing what is happening in the world through the media, traveling (I love traveling, particularly in foreign countries, although there are still many places that I have never visited in Japan!)
