Where you attended undergrad and what your major/minor(s) were: University of Colorado Boulder, class of 2004. Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology (B.A.); Psychology (B.A.), and Certificate in Neuroscience

What you did (if anything) between undergrad and grad school: I moved to Portland, OR for about a year to experience living away from Boulder. Later after moving back I worked as a Lab Tech at NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) working with BioMEMS and Tissue Engineering.

Other school affiliated activities/clubs you are involved in: N/A

What you like to do outside of school: Everything outdoors!! Snowboarding, biking, hiking, running, soccer, basketball... I also love to see great bands live in concert, like Arcade Fire, Band of Horses, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Decemberists, Granddaddy, Her Space Holiday, Neutral Milk Hotel, Pinback, Atmosphere, Aesop Rock, Buck 65, Murs, Living Legends... too many to list.
