What lab you joined and why: Angie Ribera. I like the zebrafish system and there was lots of independence to create my own project within the lab.

Short description of your project: I study how thyroid hormone rapidly alters sodium current in embryonic neurons.

Where you attended undergrad and what your major/minor(s) were: University of Washington, Major: Neurobiology, Minor: Medical History & Ethics

What you did (if anything) between undergrad and grad school: Worked as a lab technician.

What you like to do outside of school: Tennis
