Neuroscience at UCDHSC is represented not by an individual department, but rather by an inter-departmental program. Thus, neuroscience students are in the advantageous position of being able to choose a mentor from a wide variety of involved departments. Numerous research opportunities are available to neuroscience students in all areas of neuroscience research, including, molecular, cellular, developmental, and behavioral neuroscience.
