The Howard and Lynne Landesman
Educational Pavilion

Dr. Howard Landesman and wife, Lynne, make a contribution to the Howard and Lynne Landesman Educational Pavilion, part of the new Lazzara Center for Oral Facial Health.

On Nov. 15, 2004, Dr. Howard M. Landesman resigned as Dean of the University of Colorado School of Dentistry after serving in the position for nearly six years. Under his leadership, the academic, research and service programs at the school flourished.

Today, the University of Colorado School of Dentistry is nationally recognized for its innovation and quality. During his tenure, the school received a $3 million gift and created a public/private partnership worth over $92.7 million to construct the school’s new Lazzara Center for Oral Facial Health on the Fitzsimons campus.

When this comprehensive oral health facility opens in July 2005, it will become home to all of the school’s educational programs including the new specialty program in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics.

The changes in the school that Dr. Landesman inspired will increase access to education and evidence-based patient care for many years to come. Dr. Landesman’s close friends and colleagues would like to honor him by naming the pre-function space/first floor lecture hall area of the Lazzara Center for Oral Facial Health, the Howard and Lynne Landesman Educational Pavilion.

Individuals contributing to the Howard and Lynne Landesman Educational Pavilion will be recognized on a decorative wall outside the lecture hall’s entrance.
