University of Colorado Hospital establishes partnership with Lowry

The University of Colorado Hospital announced an agreement to be the exclusive hospital partner of the Lowry community. The agreement allows University of Colorado Hospital, in conjunction with the Lowry Foundation, to provide Lowry residents with events and programs that promote health and wellness.

“We are pleased to provide health care information and support to the Lowry community,” said Dennis Brimhall, president and CEO of University of Colorado Hospital. “Working with Lowry, a community located close to both our Denver and Fitzsimons campuses, provides a perfect opportunity for us to fulfill our mission of serving and educating. This partnership is a natural fit.”

The agreement names University of Colorado Hospital as a title sponsor of the Lowry Foundation’s annual “Glory Days” event in September. Several hospital representatives will serve on the events committee to help plan health-related activities.

Additional programs and events will include features on the Lowry Web site at www.lowrylink.com, such as monthly health tips and wellness-focused online chats, as well as a family health and fitness day to be held on Aug. 20 at Crescent Park.

“The Lowry Foundation feels fortunate to have established a partnership with the University of Colorado Hospital, an amazing facility so close to Lowry. We appreciate their support,” said Julie Church-Thomas, executive director of the Lowry Foundation.

The Lowry Foundation is a 501C-3 organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life and public spaces within the Lowry community for the enjoyment of all citizens. The Foundation pursues projects and programs of artistic, cultural, educational, historic, recreational and scientific value.
