Tour of Hope Technical Tour
| WHAT: | Members of the news media are invited to attend a technical tour/walk-through of the Oct. 4 Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of HopeT event, a community rally which will feature Lance Armstrong and 20 fellow cyclists who are riding across the country to promote cancer research. The walk-through will include a briefing on: media parking; the scheduled route for Armstrong and team; where the Q&A session will take place; who will be available for media interviews; and more. |
| WHEN: | Tuesday, Sept. 28, 9 a.m. NOTE: If planning to attend the media Q&A session with Armstrong, press credentials are required. News media MUST pre-register and undergo a background check. We will be able to pre-register media representatives at the walk-through. |
| WHERE: | Meet at the green space west of the new Research Complex 1 building, off 19th Avenue and Ursula Street on the CU-Health Sciences Center Fitzsimons campus. |
| WHY: | Thousands of people are expected to attend the Oct. 4 event, which is free and open to the public. By attending this walk-through, news media representatives will be better informed of the Tour of Hope's schedule of events. |
