WHAT: Ribbon cutting and opening ceremonies of the Research Complex 1 at the University of Colorado Denver Fitzsimons campus in Aurora. Events include the cutting of a "DNA" balloon ribbon, announcements and a reception. The ceremonies will lead into Lance Armstrong's Tour of Hope event beginning at 1 p.m.

WHEN:

Ribbon cutting and speakers: Monday, Oct. 4, 10 to 11 a.m.
Reception: Monday, Oct. 4, 11 a.m. to 12 noon

WHERE:

The ribbon cutting ceremony takes place in the green space west of the new research buildings at the Fitzsimons campus in Aurora, followed by a reception in the atrium of the North Research Tower.
Media parking will be available off of 19thAve. Please plan to enter the Fitzsimons campus at Peoria St. and Montview Ave., then follow media parking signs.
