SRM Partners with University of Colorado Hospital
Sterling Regional MedCenter is pleased to announce a joint venture with the Department of Pathology at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Dr. Joe Bonelli will continue to provide pathology services to SRM as well as serve as a full-time faculty member in the CU School of Medicine and attending pathologist at University of Colorado Hospital in Denver.
"Northeastern Colorado will be in good hands with this arrangement," Bonelli said. "The university can help in many aspects of diagnostics, more specialized studies, and provide access to physicians finishing their residency or medical school in all medical specialties as potential recruitments to the Sterling community."

"There will be no changes in service for our patients. With the additional expertise of the University, we are eager to utilize the extra services available. Bonelli is in his sixteenth year at Sterling Regional MedCenter as staff pathologist and lab director. He has taught throughout the past sixteen years as a clinical professor of pathology at the CU School of Medicine. He became a full-time faculty member at the school on July 1.
