Area of Research:
Ms. Kriehn's primary focus at the Center is to oversee all activities
under James Hill's
R37 NIH Research Award: Diet & Physical Activity Interactions in Obesity .
The Grant hopes to learn more about various interactions between energy
intake and physical activity. In addition to human research, She is
also an instructor for the Colorado
Weigh program.
Educational/Professional Background:
Ms. Kriehn joined the Center in the Fall of 2001. She completed her master's degree in Nutrition Science at The University of New Mexico, Albuquerque NM, before moving to Denver. Prior to her work at the Center For Human Nutrition, Ms. Kriehn held the position as Research Nutritionist at the General Clinical Research Center at the University of New Mexico for almost four years.
