Area of Research:
Ms. Cohrs is a Clinic Nurse/Educator for the Look AHEAD Research Study. Look AHEAD is a long term weight loss study for people with type 2 diabetes, 45 - 75 years of age, who are overweight or obese. Look AHEAD is a national study, being conducted at 20 sites in the U.S. and is funded by the National Institutes of Health, National Diabetes, Digestive and Kidney Disease
Educational/Professional Background:
Ms. Cohrs joined the Look AHEAD team in July 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University. Prior to joining Look AHEAD Paulette has worked with the Rocky Mountain Prostrate Center, the Kidney Stone Center, Aurora/Denver Cardiology Associates, St. Joseph Hospital, Humana Hospital, Presbyterian/St. Luke's Hospital, and Aurora Presbyterian Hospital.
