Program information:
The Colorado Weigh^TM is a community based weight loss and healthy living program offered throughout the Denver metro area. We offer two 12-week weight loss phases, followed by our long-term maintenance classes. The program focuses on making lifestyle changes to support life-long weight loss. We collect data on BMI, weight loss and average daily steps. Bonnie coordinates the classes, instructors and staff.

Educational/Professional Background:
Bonnie holds a Master's Degree in Human Nutrition, is a Registered Dietitian, and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She has been at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver for more than 8 years working in the area of diabetes and obesity research. She currently holds the position of Program Director for the Colorado Weigh^TM program at the University of Colorado Center for Human Nutrition. Additionally, she has more that 15 years experience providing both community and professional health and wellness education, and been a keynote speaker throughout the country on topics such as obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
