Before you submit an application or participate in a project you must complete several online courses about award management. Use the table below to see which ones you should take, and to access them.

Electronic Personnel Effort Reporting (ePER), Course Number U00055** Overview of the Electronic Personnel Effort Reporting (ePER) system. This course is required for new PI's.	X	X	X
Direct Charging to Sponsored Projects, Course Number U00059** Overview of the types of charges that are allowable as direct costs and how to change them. This course is required for new PI's.	X	X	X

To Register for a BlackBoard Course

1. Create Account

   • Visit Blackboard
   • Click on the Login button.
   • Enter the your Employee ID, Student ID or Affiliate ID for both the under name and password for this first time Login.
   • When you are finished, click on the Login button.

2. Enroll in a Course

   To enroll in a course you must still be logged into UC Denver Blackboard

   • Click on the Courses tab at the top of the page.
   • On the right hand side Click "Health Sciences Center Campus Courses" under Course Catalog.
   • Under Categories, Click the "HSC Research Administration Training" folder
   • Click "Enroll" for the appropriate version (PI's please take the FACULTY Version-AGC2000-CONT), to enroll in the Research Administration Start to Finish course.
