Clinical interests: Sleep disordered breathing, allergy disorders, general otolaryngology, endoscopic sinus surgery, facial trauma, emerging interactive surgical technologies.
Research Interests: Characterization of biological membranes with the use of optical (laser) tweezers - joint collaboration with the Brownell Cochlear Biophysics Laboratory, Baylor College of Medicine and the Anvari Laser Medicine Laboratory in the Bioengineering Department, Rice University (Quicktime Movie of a membrane tether being formed from the OHC with laser tweezers).
