| OTOL 8000 | Clinical Otolaryngology This course is recommended for all considering a career in Otolaryngology or desiring to hone their skills in the examination of the head and neck and in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, throat, head and neck pathology. Note that upper respiratory and ear disease make up more than half of primary care physician's acute care visits. The student can expect to actively participate in the out-patient evaluation of patients under the supervision of faculty members. The sites of rotation include: University of Colorado Hospital, Denver Health Medical Center, Veterans Administration, and the Children's Hospital. Valuable exposure and, if desired, participation in the operating room is expected. Attendance of departmental seminars and conferences allows didactic learning and exposure to sections of OtoHNS not directly experienced. Course Director: Dr. Peggy Kelley 720-777-3258. | OTOL 8100 | Course Work Away In Denver. Departmental approval must be obtained and all arrangements made one quarter in advance.Please contact Course Director, Dr. Peggy Kelley at 720-777-3258 or kelly.Peggy@tchden.org. Students are required to discuss their course evaluations with their individual instructor and ensure that the written evaluation is mailed to Dr. Peggy Kelley, Attn: Alicia Gore, 12631 E. 17th Avenue, B-205, P.O. | OTOL 8300 | Course Work Away Outside Colorado. Description same as OTOL 8100. Duration: 4-16 weeks. |
| OTOL 8400 | Course Work Away Outside U.S. Description same as OTOL 8100, plus the student must recieve prior approval from the Associate Dean for Student Affairs. Planning consultation is availiable through the Medical Student International Program. Duration: 4-16 weeks. |

| OTOL 8630 | Research in Otolaryngology Outside Colorado. Departmental approval must be obtained and all arrangements made one quarter in advance. Approval from the Associate Dean for Student Affairs also required. Duration: 4-12 weeks. |
| OTOL 8640 | Research in Otolaryngology Outside U.S. Description same as OTOL 8630. Duration: 4-12 weeks. |
