Mission Statement

The University of Colorado Denver, as an institution, is the client of the Office of University Counsel. The Office of University Counsel provides comprehensive legal services to University constituents at the Anschutz Medical Campus and Downtown Campus to support their campus missions. The legal issues confronting the campuses are complex and diverse and are dictated by the dynamic environment of an academic health sciences center and an urban comprehensive undergraduate and graduate research university.

Responsive legal services are intended to serve the immediate and future legal needs of the Anschutz Medical Campus and the Downtown Campus as they continue to expand access to higher education, engage in increasingly complex research collaborations, and expand into new communities and health care markets.

The Office of University Counsel for the Denver and Anschutz Medical Campus is served by the Managing Senior Associate University Counsel, a Senior Assistant University Counsel, a Senior Research Associate Attorney, a Research Associate Attorney and two legal assistants.
